Changes: BNS sections replace Corresponding IPC sections. Sub section (2) is newly added with a proviso to it for trial of offences punishable with three or less than three years in a summary way. Provided that no appeal shall lie against the decision of a Magistrate to try a case in a summary way under this sub-section.
